Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AI Pub helps people discover, compare, discuss, and launch AI tools, and offers free developer utilities such as prompt enhancement. Contact: info@aipub.io. This policy also applies to the Chrome / Edge / Brave extension that enhances prompts on third-party AI chat sites.

2. Information we collect

• Account information - if you sign in: name, email, and authentication identifiers provided through our auth provider.
• Content you submit - community posts and comments, published plugins/skills, product launches, profile details, and prompts you send to our enhancement or other Dev Tools features.
• Extension settings - the Prompt Enhancer stores only your chosen API base URL, prompt category, and target word count in browser extension storage. It does not store your chat history.
• Prompt text for enhancement - when you click Enhance, the current prompt is sent to our servers to generate a rewritten version, then returned to the page. We process it to provide the feature.
• Technical data - standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps may be collected automatically to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use information

• Provide and improve AI Pub features (search, compare, community, launch, Dev Tools, plugins).
• Rewrite prompts through the Prompt Enhancer and related APIs.
• Authenticate users and personalize signed-in experiences.
• Communicate about account or service-related notices.
• Prevent abuse, debug issues, and maintain security.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the Prompt Enhancer to scrape or read unrelated page content beyond the prompt field you choose to enhance.

4. Browser extension (AIPub Prompt Enhancer)

The extension’s single purpose is prompt improvement on supported AI chat websites.

• Permissions - storage saves your settings; host access to aipub.io (and optional localhost for development) is used only to call our /api/enhance endpoint.
• Site access - content scripts run on listed AI chat sites solely to show the Enhance control and read/replace the active prompt text when you click it.
• Data sharing - prompt text is sent to AI Pub servers for processing. We do not share prompts with other websites or advertisers for marketing.

5. Service providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers (for example cloud hosting, authentication, and AI model APIs) to run the product. They process data only as needed to provide those services under appropriate agreements.

6. Data retention

Account and user-generated content are retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Extension settings stay in your browser until you clear them or uninstall the extension. Prompt enhancement requests are processed to fulfill the request; we do not keep them as a long-term personal profile.

7. Your choices

• Update or delete content you published where the product allows it.
• Change or clear extension settings in the extension popup, or uninstall the extension.
• Request account or data help by emailing info@aipub.io.

8. Children’s privacy

AI Pub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or extension after changes means you accept the updated policy.
